【Transgender Celebrity 】With the thought that Ataru Nakamura put in a song

Ataru Nakamura (中村 中 ) who born in 1985 is a Japanese pop singer and songwriter, as well as being an author and actress. She is most recognised for her song “Tomodachi no Uta” (Poem of friends). She began studying music at a young age.

By the way, do you know Gender Identify Disorder (GID)?What does transgender mean? Transgender means someone whose gender differs from the one they were given when they were born. Transgender people may identify as male or female, or they may feel that neither label fits them.

In order to express their chosen gender, transgender people may transition, or change, from the gender they were given at birth.  They may change their names, pronouns or style of dress.

Some transgender people also choose a medical transition, with the help of medical specialists, who will prescribe hormones and/or surgery.

What does Gender mean to you?

Young people have lots of different experiences of gender:

•    For some, being male or female is something they don’t think about, it’s automatic.

•    Other young people feel pressure to measure up to what’s expected of them as male or female.

•    Lesbian, gay, and bisexual young people are often told that the only way to be a “real man” or a “real woman” is to be heterosexual/straight.

•    Some young people feel that male or female are labels that don’t work for them.

•    Other young people can feel like they want to change the gender they’ve been living in during their childhood.

“Not exactly transitioning to, like, a male-male,” Charice answers. “Basically, my soul is male, but I’m not going to go through that stage where I’m going to change everything.”

While she hasn’t gone through any major surgeries, she has started to change her good girl look into a tattooed bad-boy.

“Not exactly transitioning to a male, but basically my soul is male. But I’m not going to go through that stage where I’m going to change everything– not change my body. I would change, like this look– cut my hair and wear boy clothes and everything, but that’s all.”

For a long time
I’ve had boring romances
Where I can see what’s coming
Without being told

I don’t heal the pain in my heart
Just cover it up
But I easily get busted
It comes seeping out from somewhere

Just holding hands is enough
Just walking together is enough
If even that is dangerous
Then just being friends with that special person is enough

Could I have been by your side without leaning on you?
If he didn’t care, you would have left
But now…
Now…I realise it’s impossible

Being laughed at and ridiculed
But still unable to hate you
Just blaming myself
I’ll always be pathetic, huh?

Just holding hands is enough
Just walking together is enough
If even that is dangerous
Then just being able to see that special person is great

If I we can meet again when I’ve forgotten you
Be my friend, OK?

Just holding hands is enough
Just walking together is enough
If even that is dangerous
Then just being able to see that special person is great

Just holding hands is enough
Just walking together is enough
If even that is dangerous
Then just being friends with that special person is enough

Being friends is perfect

【2nd Album 】

Nakamura’s fifth single marked the promotion of her second album titled ”Watashi wo Daite Kudasai” (Please embrace me).

【in 2009】

“Kaze Tachinu” debuted in 2008. The song was used as the theme song for the live-action film “GeGeGe no Kitaro Sennen Noroi Uta”. The single did well and was received much like “Tomodachi no Uta”.

And she wrote a song called “Hare-butai” for Jero, Japan’s first black enka singer. ”Ashita wa Haremasu You Ni ” was Nakamura’s third studio album, released in 2009 .

【In 2010】

In 2010 “Ataru Nakamura” switched her management from Avex Trax to Yamaha Music Communications. She released the single “Iede Shoujo” (Runaway Girl) and her album came out titled “Shōnen Shōjo” (Boys and Girls).

The album was later awarded a Japan Record Award, despite its lack of commercial success.

【Personal life】

Nakamura was assigned male at birth but transitioned after struggling with issues of gender identity.

This was mentioned in her official biography short during her appearance at the 2007 “NHK Kouhaku Uta Gassen”.

【Musical style】

Nakamura is notable for the two different styles in which she sings. Her first style is a modern rock/pop sound.

Her second style is an enka-inspired sound; thus far her enka-styled ballads have been her largest successes. Her singles have thus far alternated between these two styles.

In the days of 15 years old that she settled this music for, there was neither the word gender identity disorders nor the concept.

She suffered from gender identity disorder.

I would hope to her success.
