【独学で英語マスター ♡ Lesson 2】多彩な「Have」を基本から勉強しよう!

 

当ブログは (学校の授業などで英語学習教材として活用していただくことも可能ですが)、独学で勉強する方のために作成されています。

語彙の目安としては、初心者の基本レベル 〜 3000語を使うことができるレベルの学習者までを対象に学んでいただけることを目的としています (もっとも、中・上級者の復習用教材としても活用できます)。

 

使用する単語や文章は、日常よく使われているものを重視して選んでいます。役立つフレーズと語の配置までをも意識して作っています。

例えば、domakeの違いは教えるのに困難です。このようなものに関しては、(we do our homework, but we make mistakes)といった文章を通して理解しやすいように対応しています。

 

繰り返しになりますが、このブログは日常生活でよく使うであろう単語や表現を中心に作成されています。なので、一通り学習をし終えた後は繰り返し復習し、さらに誰かと会話をすることで定着させていってもらいたいと思います。

加えて、他の教材も活用し、様々な実践状況の中で学んだことを広げていくことも大事です。是非、繰り返しの復習を忘れないでくださいねっ!(定着させて!)

  a meeting, a competition, a game of football

  an exam, homework, an appointment (with the dentist)

  a drink, a sandwich, an ice-cream, some cheese

Expressions with have

   Is that your camera? Can I have a look? (= look at it)

  Is that your bicycle? Can I have a go?  (= ride it)

◉  Can I have a word with you?  (= speak to you)

 

  We always have a good time in our English lessons, right? (= fun, we enjoy them)

◉  I’m going to have my hair cut.

◉  I want to learn to ski but I don’t have the time.

 

 

 

have + got ☆

have + got  (speaking / informal)   =   have (writing / formal)

 

 

◉   I’ve got 3 sisters. Have you got any brothers and sisters?

◉   My house is big. It‘s got 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.

◉   We‘ve got 10 minutes before the train goes.

 

◉   Have you got a pen?

◉   I’ve got a problem. Can I have a word with you?

◉   I’ve got a cold (a headache).

(In a shop)

 

A:  Do you sell postcards?

B:  Yes, but we haven’t got any at the moment.

 

 

 

have to…♡

We use have to when the situation means you must do something.

 

For example…

◉  The museum’s not free. You have to pay € 10 to go in.

  All students have to do the exam.

◉  I haven’t got a car, so I have to walk to school every day.
